About Me

My name’s Krista.

I’m a young professional working for a non-profit in NYC.

I’m an avid reader with a case of wanderlust.

I have two kitties and a great signficant other who keeps me accountable.

And, I have Type 2 Diabetes.

(It doesn’t define me, and won’t define this blog.

But it’s a part of me, so I’m going to be honest about that.)

This is a project about becoming more accountable in many parts of my life.

Thank you for joining me. Now, don’t be shy. I know I won’t be.

Hi. Thank you for following my blog. I like your comment that diabetes does not define you but it’s part of you and you’re going to be honest about it. I don’t let diabetes define me either but it took me a while before I faced up to it.

Ed– My pleasure. I look forward to following along. I appreciate your “take charge” proactive attitude. It’s such a great example.

Hi! Thank you so much for liking my blog post. I see we have something in common, TurboFire! I recently just started TurboFire and I know it is time to change the bad things in my life. I have struggled with weight every since I was younger. I never was the “obese” girl but always the “thick” girl. Then I had kids and the weight just came on. I had tried P90x before but lasted about a month because it was just too intense! So besides TurboFire have you had success in other programs?

TurboFire is my first “program” though I’ve done random workouts from other series before. I was thinking about trying Insanity after TurboFire so we’ll see how I feel after that. How about you? I wish you lots of success with TurboFire! We can do this!

Yep definately trying Insanity after this…..I thought about doing a hybrid of TurboFire and Chalene Extreme. I have a friend who is doing Les Mills Pump and she said it is awesome! So I might try Les Mills too!

Oh yes we can and we will!
